Surrounded by Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Croatia, Slovenia is a small country that offers acres of natural beauty, as well as a rich culture. EuroTrip Adventures will take you on a day trip to Slovenia to see Lake Bled, the country’s top destination for visitors, and then to the country’s capital Ljubljana (pronounced “LEW-blee-AH-nah”). Slovenia Itinerary
The bus arrives at Lake Bled in the morning, and you will have a few hours of free time to explore. And with a variety of churches, hiking trails, water sport activities, and even a castle, you will need to spend your time wisely! But even just a couple hours overlooking the lake at a cafe will feel like time well spent.
After departing from Lake Bled, the bus will arrive in Ljubjlana around noon, and then you have the rest of the day to yourselves! You can walk around downtown at your leisure, tour Ljubjlana Castle, or relax in one of the parks, just to name a few activities. And you can always ask your EuroTrip Adventures guide for recommendations on how to spend your day!
EuroTrip Adventures also offers an optional walking tour of the city’s highlights with a local guide, as well as a sunset boat cruise on the Ljubljanica River. These tours are additional to the cost of the trip, so please bring cash the day of departure to reserve your spot.
